TSA and the Department of Homelad Security were created just a few short months after 9/11 to help protect attacks against the US.

The Deapartment of Homeland Security was created to help keep terror attacks from coming from iside the country.

TSA - Transportation Security Administration - was created for increased secuity in all types of transportation. Everyone is considered a threat and must be thoughly examined before getting on transportation, especially planes.

Americans were very alarmed by this attack and were afraid to fly for a time after the events.

Security was very strong in many important places that people visited.

It was hard to believe that an attack on Ameica could come from inside its own boarders.

September 11, 2001 still affects the lives af Americans today because of the increased security almort any high importance place you go.

Muslims now have a negative connotation associated with them that they are terrorists when most of them are not. Their religion doesn't believe in terrorism and teaches against it.

They are now unfairly treated and at airports they almost automatically have to undergo more security checks than the average person just because of what a small group of their population does.
