Foreign and Domestic Wars Against Terror

September 11, 2001

September 11, 2001 was that day that Al Queda attacked the United States on its own soil. Americans were not expecting the attack at all because the terrorists wanted to make sure that it was a suprise attcak. Many iconic places in America were struck by planes that the terrorists had hijacked. 

 

The Twin Towers and the Pentagon were struck by the hijacked planes. The Twin Towers came crashing to the ground and one wing of the Pentagon was destroyed. The final plane never reached its destination and crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. 

 

The events that hapened that day left a lasting impression on Americans and Americans to come.
