The Coalition Forces
The coalition forces included U.S., Britain, France, the Soviet Union, Japan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and many more. They amounted to about 750,000 soldiers, with 540,000 of them being U.S. personnel.
US- They were a main leader in leading the coalition forces and led the attacks on Iraq and their allies including Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield.
Britain- The US, Britain, and the Soviet Union were the first people to work along with the United Nations to prevent a war from happening and to help Saudi Arabia and Kuwait
France- One of the smaller forces that helped throughout the war.
Soviet Union- Part of the first three to work with the United Nations against the Iraqi actions that were taking place.
Japan- Much like Germany and the other smaller forces, just took a small part against the Iraqi forces.
Egypt- Along with Saudi Arabia, one of the first to call on the United States for help.
Saudi Arabia- The inside country, near Kuwait, and in danger of also being attacked by Iraq.
