America's Reaction to the Attack

After the North Tower was hit, the occupants in the South Tower wanted to leave the building, but security would not allow it.

The United States was still in shock as the South Tower was hit

At first it was thought that the North Tower getting hit was just a terrible accident, but when the South Tower was hit as well, it could be seen that the Nation was under attack.

He recieved word that the North Tower had been hit by a plane, but at that time it was still seen as an accident.

When the southTower was hit, he was notified and had to leave the school to go deal with the issue at hand.

Soon leaders and airport officials found out that there were two more planes that had been hijacked by the same group of people.

When the plane hit the Pentagon 125 military personel were killed and all 64 people on the flight were killed as well

On the flight that crashed in Pennsylvania there was an immediate response from the passenger on the plane

A few of the passengers abord the plane realized what was going on and that one of their planes had been hijacked

They had been able to revieve messages from friends and family about what had happend to the Twin Towers and the Pentagon.

Once they realized that terrorist were now incontrol of the flight of the plane they wanted to put a stop to it before anything else could happen to their country.

The passengers fought against the hijackers and the plane flipped and shot towards the ground at over 500 miles per hour
