How it Began...

In 2004, the Pakistinian Army was searching for al-Qaeda fighters in the Pakistani mountains, in the tribal Waziristan area. They were using Wasiristan as a base for attacks against American and other ally forces in Afganistan.

What's Happening Then and Now...

The United States aids the Pakistanian army and multiple peace treaties have been signed to try and ease the conflicts. In 2009, Pakistan declared victory, but in 2011, fighting began again in revenge of Osama Bin Laden's death. Today Barack Obama is still providing support of $1.5 billion dollars a year to support the Pakistan Army.
